Automated Bin Robot
A robot that takes your bins out for you!
My 3rd year Mechatronics design unit allowed groups to choose what kind of robot they were going to develop. We did a very thorough and considered analysis and concluded that every year Brisbane residents spend ~4.1 million minutes taking out their bins, which is obviously more than our group of intrepid undergraduates could tolerate. No longer would you be required remember which day was bin day, but you wouldn't even have to move the bin yourself!
